Working together
Scope first.
Clear commitments.
These terms describe the published service offer. The accepted written proposal or engagement agreement sets the final scope, schedule, price, and project-specific terms.
Acceptance and scheduling
Online payment requests an engagement; it does not reserve availability or start work. We confirm the scope, access requirements, and schedule with you. If Wirewalk cannot accept the engagement, the payment is refunded in full. Do not buy a diagnostic expecting immediate incident response or 24/7 coverage.
What a fixed fee covers
The fee covers the published deliverables within the stated effort cap and agreed environment. It is not an unlimited support commitment. A diagnostic may identify a repair that needs separate implementation work. Additional work needs your approval and a written quote; we do not silently exceed the cap.
Quoted work and institutional purchasing
Starting prices for builds and optimization are planning minimums. The written quote defines deliverables, dependencies, acceptance checks, and fees. A usual project structure is 40% at acceptance, 40% at an agreed demonstrated milestone, and 20% at handover; the signed proposal may specify different terms. Purchase orders and invoice terms require written acceptance.
Payment and separate costs
Prices are USD. Fixed services use the same fee for card and ACH, without automatic discounts. Bank payments may take several business days to clear. Compute, cloud/API usage, licenses, hardware, storage, travel, and any applicable taxes are excluded from the service fee and identified before commitment. No subscription or automatic renewal is created by this site.
Cancellation and refunds
Contact sales@wirewalk.com to cancel or reschedule. Cancellation before work starts is eligible for a full service-fee refund. Once work has started, completed work and previously approved nonrecoverable third-party expenses are accounted for under the engagement agreement; any unearned balance is refunded. If we cannot accept the engagement, the payment is refunded in full.
Client responsibilities and research judgment
You provide authorized access, suitable data, an accountable technical contact, and agreed evaluation criteria. Scientific interpretation, validation, publication decisions, and participant-related decisions remain with your research team. We do not promise publication, funding, a specific speedup, or a scientific outcome.
Access and production changes
Use only approved data and systems. Production changes need explicit authorization, an agreed window where appropriate, and a recovery plan. Data-processing arrangements, confidentiality, and any special restrictions must be agreed before access is granted or sensitive material is transferred. Deliverable ownership and permitted third-party components are specified in the engagement agreement.
